Thoreau's Umbrella

Thoreau's Umbrella is a sequential collection of poems which follow the life of Thoreau, inferring and interpreting significant moments -- a verse biography. The title, and the poem of the same name, refers to Thoreau's habit of carrying an umbrella. And the collection is a kind of umbrella character study of the man.
