The Figurative Tradition

Through the twentieth century and into the present, British artists have sustained a particularly strong figurative tradition, supported by such institutions as the Royal Academy and the New English Art Club. The exhibition showed the work of several leading artists who are innovative and pleasing. Artists in the exhibition included: Diana Armfield, Peter Brown, James Butler, Bernard Dunstan, Keith Grant, Anthony Green, Sydney Harpley, Ken Howard, Peter Kuhfeld.
