Culture, Conflict and Children examines various world cultures and their tolerance for violence. Focusing upon how attitudes affect the behavior of children, Basta also looks at neurobiological factors in the development of perception. Historical trends in the violence of different societies are explored, always with an understanding of the complexity of its sources.
